Welcome to the website of Ray Marron. I am a programmer living and working in the Metro Phoenix area. This website is a repository for my freeware, tools and sample source code. Here is a quick guide to the various areas on this site, reachable via the links on the left:

Contact
Contact and employment information.
Hostess
Hostess is a freeware program I wrote to manage and maintain the hosts file on a Windows system for the purpose of blocking ads.
Delphi
Delphi is my main development language these days. Here you'll find programming examples and a few simple utilities.
PostgreSQL
PostgreSQL is my RDBMS of choice. This section contains examples and tips for using the database. Some of this information may be applicable to other database systems as well.
Clipper & FiveWin
I did a lot of development with Clipper and FiveWin in 90's. Here you'll find a number of tools for working with DBF files and library code.
QuickBASIC
Ahh... the good old days. :) An early code library and some games from before I did this stuff for a living.
Misc
I'm not in front of a computer all the time!

A note on the site design: I'm still in the process of learning the finer points of CSS, so I found one I liked and started experimenting from there. The layout of this site is a customized copy (permission obtained) of the CSS from Steve Friedl's site, www.unixwiz.net. Steve credits Chris Mospaw for his design, so a nod to both and I hope you consider imitation the highest form of flattery. Good design and content on both of the sites mentioned.
